Exciting insights into furniture production

On September 20, KFF and ASCO opened their doors to a group of students from the Fachschule des Möbelhandels (MöFa). The day began with a visit to the showroom in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, where the latest products from KFF & ASCO were presented. This was particularly exciting for the students as INTERIOR DAYS was taking place at the same time. Afterwards, the tour led to KFF's headquarters in Lemgo. Here, the students were given exclusive insights into the various production areas of our company and were able to experience first-hand how high-quality furniture is manufactured. »Maybe you saw this earlier in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, the product family is always big. You have a chair with armrests, without armrests, different upholstery variants and cover fabrics and leathers, plus the lounge variants and high dining. You see the variety!« emphasized Max Langemann.

»Until now, it was always the case that the new products were presented in the spring at the big trade fairs such as the IMM and then the product family was developed afterwards,« said Max Langemann, while the tour led through the upholstery shop, the leather, fabric and furniture warehouse, the packaging and assembly department as well as the administration and questions were answered on site by our experts. »It's cool that you guys work and develop so closely together, there's no limit to what you can do,« remarked one student when he asked Fabian Kern and Max Langemann about the development and creative preliminary work - also in the craft sense.

The event not only gave students the opportunity to learn about the work processes in a renowned furniture company, but also to gain valuable insights into the various production processes. Such excursions are an important part of the practice-oriented education at MöFa and help to ensure that students are optimally prepared for their future professional challenges.
