Design visions on the Praterinsel
From 13 to 16 March 2025, the Munich Design Days took place on the Praterinsel, setting new standards and we were there for the first time!
In the centre of the design and furnishing metropolis of Munich, this new format offered a carefully curated selection of interior and selected design companies and was aimed specifically at interior designers, architects, interior designers, furnishers, hoteliers and contractors. As an independent event that is closely linked to Münchner Stoff Frühling, Munich Design Days benefited from a unique synergy.
The Praterinsel, idyllically situated in the Isar, is an event location steeped in history with impressive architecture. Originally used as a site for a distillery in the 19th century, the area has now developed into an exclusive event and cultural venue. The elegant groined vault of the premises in particular lent our exhibition stand an extraordinary aesthetic and provided an exciting contrast to the contemporary design language.
From the initial contact to the organisation and implementation, we had a consistently positive feeling - the trade fair impressed with its highly professional planning and communication. As a first-time participant, we were particularly pleased that so many visitors from all over Germany found their way to Munich to experience the exciting and innovative trade fair concept live. While the H.O.M.E.D.E.P.O.T. in Vienna took place in parallel in a magnificent neo-Rococo palace, the Praterinsel in Munich offered a completely different but equally impressive setting with its simple and elegant groined vault. This special architecture gave our furniture presentation an individual touch and allowed our designs to appear in a new light.
Our GAIA DIVANO LOUNGE and the GAIA DIVANO LOUNGE PICCOLO aroused particular interest, inspiring the public with their presence, comfort and versatility. In addition to numerous exciting conversations and inspiring encounters, we were also able to make one or two customers happy.
A big thank you to the organisers and to all visitors and partners for this extraordinary trade fair. Not only did we make great contacts, but we also gained valuable inspiration for the future - and we are already looking forward to the next edition of Munich Design Days!
