The »3daysofdesign« are a popular design event in Copenhagen, where many showrooms, exhibitions and pop-up stores open their doors. So the most beautiful design novelties of Danish brands can be discovered - always worth a trip. Last year, the 3daysofdesign took place from September 16th to 18th, 2021. Many new impressions and inspirations around furniture, lifestyle, design and interior design. Exciting conversations with the various manufacturers and designers. Here, the trends of tomorrow will be presented in three days, from natural materials to minimalist design to completely tone-in-tone rooms.
The almost 200 showrooms and exhibitions can be perfectly explored by bike or on foot, as they can be found all over the city. Thus, you get a nice overview of the city at the same time and the flair of Copenhagen can be experienced on alternative paths. At the »3daysofdesign« various manufacturers present their collections, the latest products and upcoming trends are presented. We have summarized our highlights.
One of many visits took us to the FRAMA showroom. It is located in the Nyborder district and is housed in the historic »St. Paul's Pharmacy 1878«. FRAMA is a multidisciplinary design brand headquartered in Copenhagen with a focus on natural materials and simple design. With this, founder Niels Stroyer Christophers has made a name for himself in Copenhagen over the years. The showroom was designed for the 3daysofdesign in cooperation with Natural Material Studio. The main feature was the more than 30sqm of organic algae textiles that hung on the windows and passageways as material installations like unique, organic curtains.

101 CPH Showroom
In the heart of Copenhagen is the showroom 101 CPH. Furniture, lighting and accessories in Scandinavian and Japanese design are presented here. Very iconic come the vases of 101 CPH, which are strongly reminiscent of dynamic sculptures. The emphasis in manufacturing is on high quality materials, techniques and traditions. The color scheme is restrained and lets the form speak for itself.

MENU Showroom
Another highlight we were able to visit during 3daysofdesign is MENU's creative showroom, housed in "the Audo". Here, café, restaurant, concept store, showroom and hotel are combined. "The Audo" captivates with its soft color scheme and MENU's latest furniture collections, which perfectly reflect the brand's philosophy. The question of how design and space is used and how we connect with each other is the main focus here.
On our trip through Copenhagen, we visited many new but also traditional manufacturers and thus also gained diverse impressions. However, the clear, aesthetic and fine Scandinavian design was striking in all brands.
This year, 2022, the »3daysofdesign« are planned for 08th to 10th June and, as things stand, can be explored without prior registration.

High-quality and star-awarded restaurants need furnishings that are just as high-quality as they are nuanced to the individual needs and philosophy of the kitchen in each case. KFF and star restaurants have more in common than you might think at first glance.
