Where excellent design meets award-winning cuisine
KFF & the stars of the Michelin Guide
High-quality and star-awarded restaurants need furnishings that are just as high-quality as they are nuanced to the individual needs and philosophy of the cuisine. KFF and star restaurants have more in common than one might think at first glance. First of all, there is the demand for the respective source product - whether it is Breton turbot or a jus that has been reduced for days, solid oak or soft-soft nappa leather -, sustainable product management and continuous further development, responsibility towards its environment and trust in its suppliers. And the eminent aspiration to keep improving. The art of growing beyond the craft and creating a result that impresses. The common demand for aesthetics in every respect.
These are commonalities that make KFF and the sophisticated and upscale gastronomy throughout Germany and beyond a functioning team. Speaking of aesthetics: whether minimalist and modern, natural, understated and hygge or elegant, opulent and yet modern. Robin Pietsch and his restaurants »Zeitwerk« and »Pietsch« in the Harz Mountains have put his home region on the culinary map. The unobtrusive and minimalist style lived - and loved - in his kitchen is also continued in the interior: YOUMA CASUAL in muted tones emphasise the ambience and invite you to enjoy several courses.
No one conquers the Teutoburg Forest!
Jan Diekjobst's Detmolder Hof takes a different culinary approach - no less successful. The one-star restaurant relies on a rather elegant and also thoroughly opulent style of furnishing, which harmonises excellently with the carefully modernised architecture in the historic building in Detmold's old town.
The YOUMA CASUAL model alone, with its variability, is an accompanying factor for the unforgettable experience in both restaurants. Whether it's our YOUMA CASUAL model in the Harz or Detmold, you'll be seated comfortably both in the Harz and in East Westphalia-Lippe.
Italian grandezza in Cologne's southern quarter.
But for those who prefer to take a seat at GAIA or GAIA LINE : at the unpretentious and familiar La Societé in Cologne, each of the 24 seats is quickly reserved. The warmth and authenticity of the staff, the quality of the products and the playful yet stylish interior invite you to take a few hours off from the hustle and bustle of Cologne's southern district.
But don't worry. We haven't forgotten our ARVA LIGHT in the Balthasar restaurant in Paderborn. The owner Elmar Simon cooks there, and together with his wife and sommelière Laura Simon he has been running the restaurant since 1999. Both of them also attached great importance to quality and hospitality when it came to the interior, which is why they decided on the unexciting ARVA LIGHT.
The culinary delights from the kitchen are decisive for an unforgettable evening - but if you sit uncomfortably, you don't like to eat. Do you? We are proud to be able to help guests enjoy an enjoyable evening with our high-quality furniture.
