The construction, interior design and furnishings of the 1877 Winery and Bar are a family affair. Hans Winiker was the managing director of Estermann AG for 40 years and built up the company to its present size. Freshly retired, the son of a family of innkeepers can now devote himself entirely to his hobby. As he says about himself, he can »only build and serve«. Friends and acquaintances are supposed to meet in the wine cellar.
His wife Cecil and his daughter Sabrina helped a lot with this family project. He proudly tells us that the ideas and concepts for the interior design came from his wife Cecil, his »creative muse«, who decorated the entire company building and also the couple's flat with dedication over the years.

Several representatives of the iconic GAIA product family were used to furnish the colorful interior - in all seat heights. In the bar area, guests perch on GAIA bar stools; in the dining and lounge area, the choice of where to sit is even more difficult: GAIA lounge chairs, armchairs and the GAIA CALICE high-back chair invite guests to linger in equally attractive bright colors.
In the kitchen, Hans Winiker wields the wooden spoon: from the giant shrimp to the scallops to the cheese and sausage salad, he prepares everything fresh himself. He receives creative support in menu development from his daughter Sabrina, a trained food engineer and confectioner.
