Landhaus Flottbek
Casual luxury, reduced to the essentials
200-year-old ceiling beams, an open fireplace, rustic oak floorboards - when you enter the country house, you can still feel the heritage of the former farm. In the here and now, it has become a place for feel-good moments - probably the most relaxed boutique hotel in Hamburg. Purist design with lots of space, warmth and light.

This stylish four-star hotel to the north of Hamburg was designed by the Hamburg interior design studio, in.krause, and offers guests additional seating comfort in its modern rooms - with a KFF LHASA at the beautiful desk and KFF ARVA lounge chair as a relaxing retreat.
In the hotel's cosy bar HYGGE in the Hotel Landhaus Flottbek, guests can enjoy their gin on a KFF bar stool with back and arm rests on a functional lifting frame – with this much comfort and always at the right height, they may even be tempted to linger an hour longer.

Cozyness at the cocktail bar
Since the hotel moved in in 1994, the restaurant and bar Hygge and the reception have been located in the former horse stable of the property. The new concept for this area is now all about the Danish word HYGGE, which means joy of life and security and spending precious time with family and friends. Space has been created for this attitude to life. Materiality, lighting and form follow the atmosphere and thus create an atmospheric hyggeligen place.
Garden smash
If you want to get a taste at home of what concoctions are served at the opulent bar, you can try the favorite cocktail of bar manager Alexander Wagner - with lots of herbs and gin.
7cl Rutte Celery Gin
4cl fresh lemon juice
3cl lauter sugar
6 leaves sage
2 sprigs rosemary
10 sprigs thyme
Shake all ingredients with plenty of ice cubes and strain through a sieve. Serve on the rocks and decorated with a sage leaf.
