The essence of quality and style: Chiselwood Kitchens meets KFF
The kitchen has always been the central meeting place of man, and its cultural-historical significance is immense. The emergence of kitchens and the resulting ability to process food was one of the most important turning points in human evolutionary history. Being able to process and prepare food made it possible for humans to become sedentary. From this came agriculture, the domestication of domestic animals, and finally cities and civilizations in general. The kitchen is the origin of all our civilization. But when you see the kitchens of Chiselwood Kitchens, you quickly realize that the term kitchen is no longer sufficient. They are spaces for dreaming and feeling good, for arriving and staying. And the place where you then also cook or open the perfectly tempered champagne. Or drink your morning green tea. This immense importance - and the dream of a manufactory for custom-made furniture in the back of their minds - led Mel and Martin Holliday back to Lincolnshire in 1987. Using his knowledge as an engineer and his newfound love of design and creation in general, the story of Chiselwood Kitchens began. The company grew steadily, so that after only 7 years a new home had to be found, and the necessary land was found in Saxilby. In the area that still serves as the headquarters of Chiselwood Kitchens today, on the site of a former malthouse, Mel and Martin Holliday designed and built their workshops and design offices along the lines of that very malthouse.

Meanwhile, Chiselwood Kitchens has established itself worldwide as a sought-after company for custom kitchen solutions. The kitchens have long been more than mere places for food preparation: because of the perfect workmanship of the selected and always individually chosen materials, they are a feast for the eyes and the hands, the ears when it sizzles in the pan and the nose when the yeast dough slowly bakes in the oven, making the room even more irresistible with its beguiling scent. In the first kitchen, which stands out for its simple elegance with lots of light wood and clear shapes, a conscious decision was made to use the GAIA chair in black leather. This model features five back elements and an eye-catching yellow 4-leg frame. This combination makes the chair fit seamlessly into the minimalist design and adds a touch of sophistication to the kitchen.
The second room concept, on the other hand, exudes an opulent atmosphere and its emerald splendor is reminiscent of an ancient Roman bath. The mosaic used enhances the luxurious character of the room. GAIA was the obvious choice here as well, in this case as a counter chair. With its seven back elements and fine green Silk leather, it perfectly matches the grandeur and flair of this unique kitchen.
The third solution for the kitchen space, a handmade kitchen dream, in shades of blue and turquoise, GAIA was also chosen. With its seven back elements and color-coordinated Silk leather, it blends harmoniously into the design concept. The chair adds a certain lightness to the kitchen and captures the color palette of the room in a subtle way. With its curved shapes and high-quality material, the GAIA chair exudes the same timeless elegance as the entire room and perfectly completes the overall look of the kitchen.
